Setning og opnun Myrkra músíkdaga 24. janúar kl. 17 í Ráðhúsi Reykjavíkur.
Við opnunina mun Skólahljómsveit Vestur- og Miðbæjar flytja glænýtt tónverk eftir Inga Garðar Erlendsson.

Myrkir músíkdagar er ein elsta tónlistarhátíð landsins, stofnuð árið 1980 af Tónskáldafélagi Íslands. Tilgangur hátíðarinnar, nú sem þá, er að flytja og kynna samtímatónlist með áherslu á nýja íslenska tónlist og flytjendur.

GRAND OPENING OF DARK MUSIC DAYS

Grand Opening of Dark Music Days 2024 at Reykjavík City Hall at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24.

At the opening, the Reykjavík West & Centre School Band will perform a brand new composition by Ingi Garðar Erlendsson. Light refreshments will be served.

Dark Music Days is one of the oldest music festivals in Iceland, founded in 1980 by the Icelandic Composers Society with the mission to perform and promote contemporary music, with a special emphasis on new Icelandic works and performers.
